Superior Thermal Stability & Safety: provides excellent thermal shrinkage resistance with 130°C x 1 h MD shrinkage of 0.8% and TD shrinkage of 0.6%, with dual boehmite coating improving thermal tolerance and battery safety at elevated temperatures
Low Coating Weight & High Energy Density: boehmite (AlOOH) offers lower density than Al₂O₃, providing ~25% more coating coverage at the same mass; combined with low-grammage LATP coating, this design minimizes added mass while maximizing separator performance for high-energy-density battery designs
High Strength & Permeability: provides high mechanical strength with MD tensile strength of 1858 Kgf/cm², TD tensile strength of 1757 Kgf/cm², puncture strength of 423 gf, and air permeability of 132 sec/100ml, ensuring reliable cell assembly, improved electrolyte wetting, and robust long-term cycling performance
Battery Application Compatibility: suitable for liquid lithium-ion batteries and semi-solid-state batteries (coin cells and pouch cells); offers good compatibility with organic solvents and excellent electrolyte wettability; not recommended for all-solid-state batteries or sodium batteries; stable in air but recommended to handle in dry room and seal after use
