Good clamp for an imperfect system

The clamp spring is strong, and there is a screw lever in the handle to push the two pieces of the handle apart and keep constant pressure on the clamp jaws. We got it for the H-Cell, and it does the job, but if the bottom of the H-Cell is not square to the stem, this clamp may not quite be enough. We had to use a thick silicon gasket to push the tops of the cell halves apart so the stem mouths would stay sealed around the membrane. with both in place, we got a pretty good seal most of the time, and were able to perform the electrolysis.
