    Great for TLC intro

    The TLC plates were fantastic to introduce my students to the concept.

    WASTE OF MONEY. No UV Backing.

    DO NOT BUYI bought these with the intention of using a UV light to read. Unfortunately they are not uv active. The listing has been updated since I made my purchase and now no longer claims that they are UV active. This is a waste of money for me since I need the uv active plates. I am unable to return my order because I missed the return window.

    Inexpensive plates that worked excellently

    I ordered these glass-backed plates just in case the aluminum plates I had on hand didn't work. When my fears proved correct, these plates worked flawlessly. The binding might be a bit less sturdy than other plates I've used in the past, but only required a bit more care with the pencil and capillary. Already bought more.
