I have an old glass rum decanter with glass stopper that does not fit in by roughly 1/2” in height because the portion that inserts into the bottle is too large. Is it possible to have the tapered portion of the glass stopper re-machined down to fit? Can you, or someone you recommend help?

Fit perfectly

Good glass stoppers. I prefer the hex head style to the penny heads. They are hollow but seem sturdy enough. StonyLab seem to have quality products so far. I've purchased several items from them.
