Separable Vacuum Cold Trap Bubblers, 200-250 mm

When ordering similar bubblers from some science supplies industry, you will pay much higher price. This bubbler as good as its much pricier brothers.

This is a well-made piece of glassware. The description has the joint being larger than the real thing. It's not a big deal so I didn't exchange it. The trap is an excellent value and is carefully produced.

This little cold trap works well it stops your vapours from watering down your vacuum pump oil when the trap is kept very cold.Works, as intended, arrived quickly and fully-functional

Clean and professional, happy with product

This is the final trap in my distillation system. It sits in either an ice and rock salt bath or wrapped in paper and inserted in dry ice in a modified cooler (drilled a hole in the lid, and a second relief hole, for off gassing any CO2,) The tube sits through the lid, keck clip snugly affixed, and vacuum attached. Center tube is straight down the center, and there are no blemishes on the glass or deformations (air bubbles, thin spots) visible. I have continuously operated it under vacuum while in the cooler to trap solvent (as well as rogue terpenes that evaporate during warm up.) The glass is ground nicely, the grinds are true ST 24/40, even though this is designed to be used assembled, chilled, and connected to vacuum. Great price, great little trap. When doing extractions under vacuum, or distilling under vacuum, a trap is a definite pump saver, and worth the investment.
