  • High-Purity Iron Foam: made of Fe > 99.95% with a 3D connected porous structure; porosity ≥ 70% and pore size 0.1-10 mm for high surface area and fluid permeability
  • Dimensions & Surface Options: 100 x 100 x 1 mm; available in standard (normal wettability) and hydrophilic (surface-modified) versions
  • Hydrophilic Version: surface-modified for improved wettability, faster liquid infiltration, uniform electrolyte/reactant distribution, and reduced mass-transfer resistance; ideal for water electrolysis, battery electrodes, and liquid-phase catalytic reactors
  • Mechanical Properties: low density (0.1-0.8 g/cm³), compressive strength ≥ 250 kPa, tensile/flexural strength 2-7 MPa; stepwise pore collapse under compression provides impact absorption and cushioning
  • Applications & Pre-Treatment: suitable for battery electrodes, water electrolysis (HER/OER), electrochemical sensors, catalyst supports, filtration, lightweight structural components, and shock-absorbing packaging; vacuum-sealed for oxidation protection; cleaning, reduction, or electrochemical activation recommended for interface-sensitive use
